About
The Sibelius Sound Set Project is an ongoing effort to help composers
realize their music using Sibelius notation software. As a result of
the Sound Set Project industry leading sample developers, including
EastWest/Quantum Leap, ProjectSAM, IK Multimedia and Vir2 Instruments
(among others) are recognizing the importance of, and actively seeking
to provide Sibelius support.

Born in 1988, Jonathan Loving began his formal music training at the age of fourteen. Jonathan has studied composition at the Bowling Green State University College of Musical Arts with Marilyn Shrude, Paul Thomas, and Patrick Peringer, and at the Capital University Conservatory of Music with Rocky Reuter.
He has received both local and international commissions, including original works for marching band, mixed chorus, orchestra, instrumental solos, and other small ensembles. In 2005, Jonathan's "Allegro", for solo horn and piano, was premiered by Grammy Award-winner, and two time winner of the American Horn Competition, Andrew Pelletier.
In addition to composing, Jonathan is an accomplished horn player receiving many awards and scholarships, as well as invitations to play with select symphonic bands and orchestras. Jonathan served as Principal Horn of the Bowling Green High School Pit and Symphony Orchestras, Symphonic and Marching Bands. Jonathan played 2nd Horn under the baton of Robert Sheldon for the world premiere of "The Symphonic Suite from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire."
Jonathan's work outside of the Sound Set Project includes sample library programming, music preparation, and consultation.
